I have examined the accompanying Ordin-

ance, entitled,

"An Ordinance to authorise the appropriation of a Supplementary Sum of four hundred and Eighty one thousand, Three hundred and Thirty five Dollars and Thirty five cents, to defray the Char-ges of the year 1899. "and I am of opinion that the Ordinance is one

which is not contrary to the Governor's Instruct-

ions.
